The Rimkok has nice grounds - it's just in a remote area with not much to do.
Rooms were nice & comfortable, breakfast was very good. Better than half of the hotels we stayed in during our three weeks in Thailand.

The website of the Rimkok Resort looks very promissing. The reality is a bit different. The grounds are beautiful and the pool is really nice. But the service is a bit poor. When we asked for advice we got no answer and when we went to the pool it was almost impossible to get our towels.

The rooms are being refurbished and that really is a good thing. Breakfast is OK. But we couldn't get used to the stains in the tablecloths and the 'screaming' television. Next time we would stay in another hotel...

Absolutely beautiful hotel grounds. Huge. It's situated in a lush tropical setting, right on the river. Just taking a stroll through the resort will take a long time---beautiful walk.

Very reasonable laundry charges, same with room service.

The pool area is something you'd expect out of a tropical paradise. They couldn't have designed it any better. Have a cheap delicious dinner while you're out there, then take a swim in the huge pool---it will be a good workout if you swim the whole perimeter. Or just relax under the fountains.

The rooms are very large, extremely clean, and nicely setup, a little bit of a tropical feel to them. Couple negatives: all rooms have a cement walkway/hallway outside. The bellboys start hauling luggage back to the front entrance (which can be a LONG way), and I remember hearing the CLUNK-CLUNK-CLUNK of luggage wheels on the cement going back and forth, waking me up every morning (with earplugs!) and going on through late hours at night. Big gap under the door I guess. Also was very hard to find room after checkin, but no big deal once you figure out where it is.
