This hotel on internet sites looks good value. I decided that since it was close to the Train Station and town it would be a good choice. The hotel is actually at a main cross roads with the train line crossing. There is therefore a problem with the sound of traffic and the DING DING DING noise of the railway crossing barrier and trains on a regular basis.
There is also a slight problem with the hotels music sysytem if you are a light sleeper or turn in early.
A suite was booked to take advantage of the advertised private large terrace. Firstly the room is no more than any other hotel room secondly the terrace is not private as the two adjoining ones are only seperated by a 1 meter wall. The terrace was unfiinished (1/2 tiled and still had sacks of cement and tools lefty by the worker). Whilst the reception staff were polite they could not offer no solution as "the boss was away".
There is also no lift if you have difficulty with stairs. These smelt of cigarette smoke. There was no fridge in the room but to give the site owner a positive point this was not advertised as such.
The staff at the hotel were great considering the position they were in. They spoke good english and the bar area was bright and clean.
