Stayed here during songkran period (thai new year) for 3 nights.
We had a pleasant stay with aspery, the room is great, spacious, clean and have all the necessities you needed. It has a balcony that overlooks the other balcony of the hotel in front. :)
The staff are helpful and friendly, at one point, too friendly that the bellman who walked us to our room when we checked in kept on blabbering about one of their guests who complained. We were rather surprised but just didn't mind.
The breakfast is nice but it didn't wow us.
Unfortunately, we did not get to see the pool nor have dined in their restaurant (except breakfast) as we always walked to the beach or the center. They do make a good cafe latte for only 60 Baht.
One minor incident that bothered us a bit but not too major to cause a complain was the housekeeper. She walked in our room one morning after 1 knock. She didn't even gave us a chance to respond to her knock to open the door. She used her key and let herself in, lol. I was glad we are decent when she entered as we are just getting ready to head to the beach. I would imagine the SOP for cleaning the room if the "make up our room" sign is not out, is to knock a couple of times to confirm that no one is in the room before you let yourself in. But again it was a minor in case although it could've been a major issue for some or if she picked the wrong time.
Aside from that and the complaining bell man, everything went well during our stay and I will definitely go back and stay here again.
