I can understand that this is a BUDGET hotel but they "the staff" were verey rude and unhelpful and one duty manager was just a total. The room was fair but it was the extras that you get charged for to bring people to your room, baht 500 they even tried to charge me when
my best mate come over to my room from his hotel and he was there 10 mins I got charged for a bloodied towel on my departure that had that
much blood on it i would have had to cut my wrist to warrant that. I admit that not everyone goes to thailand for the elephant rides and the temples but there were a lot of other furangs with thai ladies every morning doing the same as me and when you do thailand on a budget you dont expect that there are extra charges after pre paying for everything. breakfast was crap too. never go back and will never recommend. In a room with no windows in the hall was asking for trouble - noisy people in the room next door, insufficient soundproofing and the room was never made up until 5pm...we were always waiting to get in to get ready to go out for tea!

Always had to ask for toilet paper......room was VERY dark!!!!!!!!
AND when we checked out they had not checked the "bar" fridge from the previous people and charged us for a bottle of water that someone had taken one swig out of that wasn't us! Their mistake and we had to pay for it! RUDE.

A mate of mine and I stayed here for 10 nights. At first we thought it was a bit off, but after a couple of days we were fine. You must remember that for only $25 (AUS) per night, there was no reason to complain. Our air-cons worked, rooms were clean, king size bed was comfortable, phone worked, shower & toilet were ok, staff were very friendly (except for one lady who had just started there), pool was refreshing and the food was good. The breakfast could have been more appealing. It consisted of eggs any style, bacon, rice, some Thai dishes, fruit, oj, milk, pancakes, french toast, bread, jams, butter, cereal, tea & coffee, but not on the one day. Tv viewing was limited to about 6 channels, with only 3 in english. My hint for single people wishing to have someone extra in their room, be it for one hour or overnight, please ensure that you pay through your travel agent for a double/twin room, which is only $4 (AUS) extra per night. If you don't, you will be hit with a on the spot 500 BHT fee. The position of the motel is great, with all the shopping, bars and entertainment at your fingertips. Oh, and the motel also has 2 lifts. Remember, you really only sleep or rest in your room, as there is much to do in Phuket.

This was advertised on the website I booked with as a 3 star hotel, and with the best will in the world, I'm sure even the people writing reasonable reviews here would not agree with that! At best it's a mediocre 2 star, and we had the same problems as others such as A/C not working properly, torn bed linen and towels, torn shower curtain and non functioning bedside light. We also had the added bonus of an ant infestation for the last couple of days, which we reported 3 times and they were still there when we left. The floors in the public area, particularly around reception and to the lift, are filthy.

As a basic hotel it's OK, but I would have preferred to have had an accurate star rating, then paid a bit more to stay somewhere decent.
