stayed here for 15 nights , the first night...allocated a room with no windows, it was like a sealed box. Had to be very firm with reception staff who stated that they could not change untilnext day as hotel was full,next day managed to change room toone with balcony. We were not the only guests to have this experience, it seems that they try this one with quite a few customers on their first night. Hotel is clean and in a fairly good location especially for nightlife and the beach.

Staff are generally friendly except for a few reception staff who have limited english communication.

The main problem seems to be with management attitudes, you will find a list in your room outlining the cost of any breakages ranging from a drinking glass through to bedding etc.......beware that before you check out the staff are sent to check your room for missing items/breakages.

Breakfast/food in general is good although you will an amlpe choice of places to eat in the vacinity. The hotel has an internet PC to use....charged of course but look outside for the local internet cafes which are much cheaper and more private to use.

2 Aussie guys that stayed 1 night at this Hotel before we stayed at the Expat Hotel. We found this Hotel abit dingy, but what do you expect for $30.00 Aus a night. Breakfast was good and location is only 5 minute walk up Soi Kepsap to beach.
Have booked a 6 night stay in a Superior Balcony Room in April 2008. The website states that this is the best room, so will let you know how it goes.

I can understand that this is a BUDGET hotel but they "the staff" were verey rude and unhelpful and one duty manager was just a total. The room was fair but it was the extras that you get charged for to bring people to your room, baht 500 they even tried to charge me when
my best mate come over to my room from his hotel and he was there 10 mins I got charged for a bloodied towel on my departure that had that
much blood on it i would have had to cut my wrist to warrant that. I admit that not everyone goes to thailand for the elephant rides and the temples but there were a lot of other furangs with thai ladies every morning doing the same as me and when you do thailand on a budget you dont expect that there are extra charges after pre paying for everything. breakfast was crap too. never go back and will never recommend. In a room with no windows in the hall was asking for trouble - noisy people in the room next door, insufficient soundproofing and the room was never made up until 5pm...we were always waiting to get in to get ready to go out for tea!

Always had to ask for toilet paper......room was VERY dark!!!!!!!!
AND when we checked out they had not checked the "bar" fridge from the previous people and charged us for a bottle of water that someone had taken one swig out of that wasn't us! Their mistake and we had to pay for it! RUDE.
