This hotel is an oasis amongst the bustle of busy Patong. I cannot find fault with this place at all.

The staff were excellent, friendly and courteous.

The restaurant was great, lovely food and really good value. Breakfast was fresh, and the choice was good.

The room was clean, well equipped (hairdryer, mini-bar, tea & coffee facilities etc) and made-up every day.

The pool area was lovely and kept spotlessly clean.

Well located - only about 30 seconds walk to the beach, near shops, restaurants and bars.

I would highly recommend Salathai to anyone going to stay in Patong beach

We stayed in the hotel next door to the Salathai but we did use their restaurant quite a lot and it was really excellent particularly the fillet steak done medium on charcoal at only 350 bt it was half the price of the big outdoor restaurant down the front even the surf and turf was great. 10 out of 10 for cleanliness and value

We stayed three night at the Salathai Resort. We were happy with the hotel room and pool. We booked our accommadation direct with Kajohnsak (Ass Front Office) the day before. When we arrived at the resort what he said was included in our room rate was not the case. I found the reception staff not very helpful. The Food and Beverage staff were very good. It is a good hotel for location and price, but make sure if you book over the phone with the reception staff you get what is inlcuded in your room rate in writing.
