This hotel in more than we ever expected! Big nice rooms, all with pool view. Very clean hotel, and even the beds were nice to sleep in! Cable TV and Internet at the hotel made it even moore perfect! The staff is very friendly and helpful! Just thell them were you want to go, and they will fix it for you!
The breakfast were great, and there was a lot om fresh fruit at the buffe`every morning!
The only negative thing is that it is far from patong beach. It took about 40 minutes to walk, but there are free shuttle bus every hour, so it`s not really a problem! I highly recomend this hotel!

This hotel is abit out of the way from the action but has an hourly transfer service to the beach & its reasonable rates make up for it!.The rooms are large & clean with balconies overlooking the pool.There is Free wireless internet & cable TV channels.Patong is an exciting & unique destination with lots of shopping,shows and Sea food! I mostly ate in the local restaurants & never had any problems.The hotel restaurant & beach bar were adequate & reasonably priced & food was quite good.The breakfast provided was the best I've had,a cook dedicated to eggs any way you want & lots of choices of hot meals,cheese breads,fruit...just Great!!The pool was large & clean.The pool staff were friendly & helpful always smiling.My only complaint is the female staff at the reception who are unfriendly,proud & sometimes even rude...but the male staff are the total opposite,& I found during my stay that i avoided dealing with the female reception staff.Besides this everything else was fine & this hotel is above average for its price range& location.I would highly recommend it!

The Green Mountain’s highlight is the staff - always friendly and willing to help with anything. They helped arrange for a private tour of the island by taxi. The manager, Daeng, is professional and very nice. The buffet breakfast was different every day with a great selection. The restaurant is open day and night for late night Thai, western dishes or snacks. The hotel is a distance from the beach road and they offer a shuttle to there once per hour, but only until 6 pm and no return service unless you are lucky to spot them. Otherwise the walk back to the hotel at night is along a narrow busy street and will take a good 30 minutes. Taxis can run up to 200 baht for the trip. The pool is very nice with a bar and food service. The premises and room were very clean and quiet. I was told they are expanding their hotel to include another 50 rooms next year. A great experience. I love Thailand!

Just came back from a week at the Green Mountain. Absolutely sensational! The staff could not do enough for you to make your stay any more enjoyable, especially Boapa (Yayee), Tanatchai (Tom), Thapanee, One & Anuwat (Tap Tap). I have read on a few sites about people complaining that it's too far from the beach, for how much you save on the cost of a room you still come out in front when you get a tuk tuk back, if you barter you will get a tuk tuk for 150B. Great location I think, far enough away from the hustle of Bangla Rd and the stalls yet close enough to jump on the free shuttle. The food, pool & bar are great. Will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone considering staying there. Take your time to get to know the staff as we did, they interact well with guests and they will do absolutely anything for you. Admittedly we did tip them well, but we were shuttled to the beach pretty much as we requested and even had One offer to come and pick us up in his own time when he finished work. Can't wait to return!
