Don't confuse reviews on here of the kasbah and of the Souk that is front of the kasbah.
The kasbah is entered through and archway just around the corner from the seafront and up a flight of stairs.
The entrance fee is 5dinar per person plus 1dinar if you want to take photo's. Price is clearly displayed at the entrance.
Not really a huge amount to see inside but the views from the ramparts are stunning and worth every milleme of the entry fee.
One room did have photo's and a small history under each one, but sadly there was no English translation, but you could get the gist of everything from the images.
The courtyard is nice and there is ample shade under the tree.
We spent about 40 minutes looking around and taking photo's, you may take slightly longer or you may take slightly less.....it isn't that big.
We found it to be interesting and excellent value and would say if your wandering around the Medina and want to escape the Souk sellers then this will provide some sanctuary and wonderful scenery...give it a go...a 5 dinar it isn't going to break the bank.
