The hotel is not that far from the city centre in Antalya, though a taxi would be your best option. The hotel facilities aren't that great though dinner is included in the price because that is the common custom in Turkey. The hotel rooms are a bit small and the halls give you the sense that your room is going to be in disrepair but they aren't, they are just small. I would not recommend this hotel just because for the same price you could probably get yourself into the Sheraton or Falez which look alot nicer.

The pool did not look that clean. We arrived in November which was warm but not very hot that we would have needed to go into the pool. The hotels lobby is neat and clean as is the dinning room. The hotel is a nice little walk from the shopping mall in Antalya which is great to pick up souvernirs like Turkish football shirts etc.

This hotel was actually better than expected. We opted for this hotel for a conference accommodation instead of the Sheraton and we were definitely pleased. The rooms are nice - and a good size - with balconies. Definitely the place to go on a budget. They also have a lounge/bar downstairs that is nice to meet friends in.

The breakfast was plentiful, although the food was not great. This, considering the great food and fruits available in Turkey. We ate one day at the Sheraton just to have some good food. However, you're a short walk away (down a hill) to the beach where there is fantastic food. So get your fill on breakfast and head to the beach for dinner.

The staff were all very nice and were able to change our currency at a good rate. They tried to make sure our stay comfortable. Just ask and they try to provide.

Be sure to ask for a room that faces the pool as the other rooms face an ugly parking area. The pool was great, although I was sick and couldn't go in. My husband had a few dips as I sunbathed.

On the pool side, from the balcony, it's a great view of the hills, of the sea, of everything (including the Sheraton:=) ). We have photos. Take a gander.

My 12 year old daughter and myself have just returned from a 1 week holiday in this hotel. The hotel looked pretty grotty from the outside upon arrival, green and red! The room was okay. Food was awful, at least 4 times I had to spit out the food into a napkin. The salads tasted fizzy, they did not cater for children at all. My daughter picked up a stomach virus there and had the runs and vomiting. Staff were very unhelpful from Day 1. Hotel far from beach... about 30 minutes walking. Everything we needed to know, I found out from other Israelis staying in other hotels, (I'm oringinally from UK). Be warned, you have to sneak water into the hotel as they do not provide any type of drinks in with your evening meal and charge about $5 for a glass of juice. Water cost twice as much as outside. By the way, if they catch you sneaking in water and any type of food, they confiscate it. My kid was really hungry there and lived on biscuits and crisps and the local Macdonalds! Antalya itself was great, trips enjoyable (rafting and jeep tour). Heatwave unbearable, especially if you come from a cold climate.

me and my friends stayed at the grida city hotel for 4 nights in the end of april-begining of may. when we planed our vacation we decided not to take a 5 stars hotel becuase we want to see the city, not to stay in the hotel the whole time. We arrived at the hotel and while check-in we asked the man in reception if he knows good bars\pubs. He was nice and offered to take us out. In the next days he showed us the city center, old city, market and beach and in the nights we went to different bars, pubs and clubs.
Bad things about the hotel: not always enough hot water in the shower, the hotel isn't close to the beach or the city center\old city: you have to use public transportation (it's called "dulumush") or a taxi.
Good things about the hotel: very nice staff, food is o.k. (if you're not spoiled), big pool.
Things you should see\go to in the city: market, marina, "duden falls" (we took a boat ride).
If you can find yourself a nice local-man\woman to show you the city, like we had, it's the best thing you can do because this way you'll see all you should see in the city, and won't need to pay a tour-guide.
Recommended not to go in the spring time: the whether was nice and hot but the water in the pool or beach was too cold (about 17 c). some people did go in the water – maybe it's because the come from cold countries… we are from Israel so we thought the water are too cold… :)
