This was my first holiday with my girlfriend, so we were a bit weary as to where to go, so after checking numerous hotels and there reviews on trip advisor, we decided to go for the Concorde and it did not disappoint. We arrived in the early hours of the morning, they had our room ready for us and it was lovely very clean and spacious. Next day when to guest relations and booked into the ala carte restaurants granted it was 10euros each but you got one free from the hotel. Total worth the money. We never went to the Turkish or fish restaurant as not a fan but the other three were good, asian, Italian and steakhouse. Food was lovely altho you sometimes are in the place for a bit longer than needed but apart from that it's fine. My girlfriend cant eat certain things but even on the menu there was something to each. I recommend the Asian restaurant as they cook the food in front of you depending where in the restaurant you sit. The main buffet restaurant was nice aswell as there is themed nights so we sorted going to ala carte ones round nights we didn't fancy but when we did go it was lovely always a wide choice of foods and for a fussy eater like myself it was fine. We used it for breakfast which was on until half ten/eleven always food and wide choice. Lunch was nice aswell although we preferred going to the snack bar for lunch which had burgers, pizza etc everyday. So easier to go there. All the restaurants were clean and staff couldn't do enough to help you. We also went to the BBQ restaurant which is on the beach when we were there it was a bit windy but they gve my girlfriend a blanket to wrap round her which was fine.
The first week we tended to sit at the pool near the reflex pool. That pool itself was lovely, it was cold which was needed as the weather was roasting. The main pool was also massive and also nice. There was also a number of flumes aswell which was round the other side. Pretty good altho if your goin on the tunnel one watch your head as your jumping in as the entrance to it is pretty low. There was always a choice of sunbed. I would get up about half 8 go down for them and there was always loads of choice although some beds were taking but plenty of space. Our second week we moved onto the pier at the beach which I would recommend going there everyday as it was amazing. Again I would go down early and had pretty much the choice of beds but it wasnt sunbeds it was single mattress to lie on which were good. The view from the pier is breathtaking more so in the morning when choosing the beds. The sea was lovely and refreshing and it was always clean and same with the beach. Also if you were there the whole day about half 4ish they would give everyday on the pier cocktails and there would be a dj then also and started playing some tunes.
There were a number of bars, the poolside one was easy to get served at and had no issues at all, Neptune bar is we're the entertainment is if they whether is miserable which was only once when we were there but it wasn't big enough for everyone the only downside but we went there most nights after our dinner and a wee hint, wee tipped some of the waitresses and we had no problem gettin drinks at all. Some as the glass were nearing empty they ask us if we wanted new ones. If your into drinking cocktails I'd highly recommend the concorde special as very nice. Also if your a vodka drinker there is an option of Smirnoff on the inclusive drinks altho with us it was absolute vodka which my girlfriend was happy about but when getting a vodka it ain't for the faint hearted as they put in alot of vodka so be prepared. The beer was top notch as I'm a big fan of efes beer anyway.
The entertainment was down at the amphitheater which is we're the snack bar is was on til around ten a think and there was always something on which was pretty decent. Then after that there is an option of the nightclub which is within the hotel. We happened to be having a look around and found it. It's on the same level as the buffet restaurant toward the banquet hall and again all inclusive included in it aswell and if that wasnt opened there would be a party on the pier at night. Overall pretty decent.
Our rooms were always cleaned everyday and with a different design with towels or rose petals on our bed. Mini bar was stocked up everyday. Another tip with that is to his the bottle of coke so theyput another one in as you only getting so many cups of juice from it.
There was a supermarket about a ten min walk from the hotel so we sometimes went there and stocked up on things. You are also able to get burger king delivered to the hotel I only found this out on the 2nd last night. Good info incase folk are needing a wee curer after a heavy night. Ha.
Overall it was quite possibly one of the best holidays I've been on, very good value for money, lovely hotel, grounds well kept, rooms lovely, staff very friendly, beach and pool lovely. Restaurants lovely. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of going.
Hope this helps
Ps people were talking about cats wandering about but they are the hotel cats and they are regularly taking to ye vets for check ups. So there not strays.
