I had already made up my mind I was going to paraglide before I left, told all my friends and clients so I couldn't back out of it!
I am so glad that I did!
Left Sky Sports shop front at 10.45 to ride in an open sided jeep up the mountains, only requirements were to wear trainers but check with your company before hand.
The ride up the mountains was brilliant fun,very narrow and bumpy! Zoofi my pilot told us it was safer to jump than to ride back down in the jeep, encouraging!
When you get there if you are female be warned the toilets are ropey!
We gathered on the cliff side which wasn't as scary as I imagined, it was not a sheer drop! Zoofi fitted my body suit on, then gave me instructions to walk when told to then run when told to, but keep running even in the air until insructed otherwise, this is when I got nervous! He popped my camera in a zipped pocket for me and made sure I was ok with everything. Sky sports will not fly if conditions are not right, they wont make you wait for hours on the mountain side for better weather either, just arrange another fly date. They also have the biggest insurance payout.
So we waited for a few mins then we walked, and then ran and ran and suddenly we were flying! It was so surreal to have nothing under foot and just air infront of me!
The view of the beach and lagoon was amazing,could see Fethiye and paratra, and it was so gentle floating down. Unfortunately I felt a bit sick, but Zoofi gave me a head massage and I did feel better after, so maybe travel sickness tabs would be an idea?
We reached 3000 meters and went through the clouds, it took about 40 mins to come down. When we landed I just stepped onto the ground, no stumbling, just a few steps and we were at a stand still.
We were charged extra for photos and videos taken during the flight and when landing, 3 separate prices for each. I took the flight photos and they are sooo good!
Amazing, you have to try it or you will regret it!

My wife and I flew with Sky Sports last week and it was easily the highlight of our entire Turkey trip. We were both pretty apprehensive about the idea of flinging ourselves off a 6000ft mountain (really, who in their right mind would do such a thing??), and I must admit to more than a slight fear of heights, but our pilots were wonderful and very comforting. All the worry was for nothing; after about the two seconds it took to take off, we were floating gracefully in the air, felt completely secured, and obviously in very capable hands. The experience was both serene and breathtaking, without a hint of fear or worry. I can't even begin to describe the beauty of floating over the rugged Turkish mountains and gracefully descending to the beautiful turquoise seas. It was truly an experience not to be missed.

From everyone we've spoken to, Sky Sports is -the- operation to go with in Olu Deniz. There were a ton of paragliding operators along the main street, but Sky Sports sounds like they have the most rigorous hiring practices there. Our pilots had 7 and 13 years flying experience, respectively. Sky Sports has a minimum experience requirement of at least three years, although it seemed like everyone had much more; many of the other providers hire after only 1 year experience. Given that you're 6000 feet above the ground, we definitely appreciated the more rigorous training and experience requirements of Sky Sports. =)

My wife and I would both heartily recommend Sky Sports and suggest that this is a 'must do' activity if you go to the Mediterranean coast.

I feel the title sums up my experience. Sky sports paragliding and in particular Michael were absolutely excellent. They provided an unparalleled service for all the activities we undertook and not only that, unlike many of the other companies (of which they are plenty) they delivered on all promises and requests. Our group of 7 boys is usually hard to please but we have nothing but good words to say about them.

If I return to Oludeniz, I wouldn’t even approach any other company and would rather pay marginally higher to receive a better experience and service.

All I have to say to anyone travelling is, find sky sports (ask for Michael) and book all your excursions with them for a guaranteed excellent holiday (that not only includes paragliding, but also boat trips, jeep safari’s etc etc).

It is very hard to trust people in Olu Deniz as everyone is after your money BUT Sky Sports were absolutely trustworthy. Majnoon(michael) and Murat told us that they were slightly more expensive then others but were extremely honest and delivered everytime with their promise. Firstly, we had paragliding booked which was absolutely amazing from start to finish....there were 7 of us and we were actually flying side by side which was absolutely amazing. The pilots were absolutely faultless and all our landings were perfect!
Secondly, We had Also Booked Quad Biking with Sky Sports...this was also well worth it as the scenery was absolutely breath taking and we also stopped by a beach to freshen up and the quad biking did last 2 hours as promised! Thirdly, the boat trip was abosultely incredible....we had a small boat as promised accommodating 30 people but had a lot of room to manouver around! we vistied the usual attractions from the butterfly valley to the cold spring BUT the highlight of the boat trip was the fact that our boat was always at the visiting sites atleast 20 mins before other boats which made it less crowdy when visiting the cold spring for example. Also, the lunch was absolutely worth it as it was like a buffet......serving chicken and seabasse fish with salad, potatoes and fresh bread. Finally, the turkish bath and hamam was the perfect way to get away from the july heat of turkey. the Turkish bath actually made u feel clean and the hamam just took all your tensions away. What more can i say...they kept 7 roudy ladz happy. If you are going to Olu Deniz you MUST use SKY SPORTS.......
