Seen some negative comments on here so far and whilst our stay (with my girlfriend) wasn't perfect, it was far from awful. We stayed for 2 weeks half board.
First the good things. Generally the staff were very friendly and always happy to help. We stayed half board and were very impressed by the food in the evening being able to choose from any chicken, pasta or Chinese dish on the menu, all cooked to a great standard. (Except the pizza which we suspect was ordered from a local pizza shop!) Music stopped at a reasonable hour so as not to disturb guests sleeping and whilst basic, the rooms were clean on arrival and comfortable. Violet was friendly enough and always seemed happy to help if we had a problem or needed to know something. She speaks the best English however and it was at times difficult to get a response from the Turkish staff, but we never had any real problems. The hotel is in a great location and in the quieter end of Marmaris away from the clubs, which are only a short walk away.
Problems. We didn't use the pool once ourselves since it looked small and generally unclean (finding a nicer free pool around 10 minutes walk from the hotel.) although it was used by guests whilst we were there. The pool was covered in the evenings to make floor space for tables making up the eating area of the restaurant. The pool was in an uncomfortable location as well being right next to the street with traffic and other holiday goers passing by. The TV in our room didn't work, though that didn't bother us. You have to pay for your own toilet paper whist there (or badger the staff for some more, we just bought some from the local shop.) You are also not allowed to bring your own food or drinks into the hotel from outside being forced to buy them from the bar (where they are slightly more expensive.) Air conditioning is also extra (10 lira a night / £4 ish) but you have to buy it for your full stay and its almost a necessity. A safe box is also an extra charge.
Entertainment is a staff show which, funny at first, gets annoying as the nights go on. Staff are generally friendly but come off a little sarcastic at times. Also don't take an iPhone with you, everyone will try to buy it. Including the hotel staff.
Our room was cleaned once in 2 weeks. It was cleaned to a poor standard and the maid herself was unfriendly and on her phone almost the whole time we saw her.
We did enjoy our stay however. We weren't expecting a 5 star deluxe hotel but if you are after just a place to put your head down whilst exploring the rest of Marmaris Hotel London Blue is a fair option for someone on a budget like us. Consider going half board as I wouldn't recommend staying as B&B or Self Catering.
