We arrived at the hotel to be greeted by a lovely chap on reception, he could speak very little English but we got by and he was very helpful. Unfortunately shortly after we arrived there was a power cut, but this was no fault of the hotel and the manager quickly arrived to explain the situation.
I agree that there are some points to the hotel, in terms of decor, that are not great but we slept and showered in the room and it was good enough. Would have been nice to have brew making facilities but being British it is what we expect.
We have never been to Turkey before and as far as I can gather the hotel is what you would expect.
We felt very welcome at the hotel, which is what made the holiday what is was. The staff are very friendly and helpful; they can't seem to do enough for you. The Manager is great and is flexible, you have to remember that they need to make enough money to live and the wages out there are not brilliant.
If you have never been to Turkey I would warn against the huge crickets and the not being able to walk past a restaurant, pub or club without being practically dragged in but you do eventually find ways of ignoring them.
I would recommend the Jeep safari and the Buggy safari; they are excellent value for money.
My husband, my son and I are looking forward to our next stay at the Swans 1.
