My husband and I spent 2 nights at the Yokohama Royal Park Hotel. The common areas of the hotel are very impressive, hotel staff were very friendly and unobtrusive, there were multiple restaurants within the hotel to choose from, as well having impressive views from each hotel room.
Unfortunately, the room itself was less than impressive (above average, but barely so). Carpet was stained, we were given two twin beds instead of one queen/king bed, water temperature in the shower was very hard to regulate (the cold water valve must not have been working properly). On the positive side, the view is wonderful, the room smelled clean, the bathtub was large, and free tea was provided. The bed was decently comfortable (my husband and I did share a twin bed--it is a little larger than a U.S. twin size bed)--I've slept on much more comfortable beds at lower end hotels.
I'd recommend the hotel if you can get an upgraded room and for the wonderful views.
