We stayed for one night at the Annah Rais longhouse in April 09. Edward and his son Cab are incredibly hospitable people catering as best they can to your every need. There are a number of beautiful natural attractions nearby (waterfalls, rapids, swimming holes, jungle treks). However, because we slept on standard matresses in a structure with cable television, flush toilets, washing machines, refrigerators, and cell phone service, I do not feel that I experienced the true tribal culture. We did get to participate in a blowpipe demonstration and tribal dance. I think this would have been much more enjoyable had more visitors been present. All in all, I think a bit overpriced but given its convenience to Kuching (one hour by car) and beautiful surroundings, it was worth it
