A very big hotel in a great central location. The entrance and receptions areas are furnished to a high standard but after that everything becomes quite ordinary.

The corridors have no furnishings and with the marble floor the noise moves around so easily that is easily disturbs in your room. The rooms themselves are the usual standard with nothing special in terms of decoration or furniture. Cleanliness in the room was ok but it hadnt been dusted for a while. Size of the room is pretty good with nice views at the front to the Haram.

Bathroom is small with just a shower and no bath. However, that makes sense with few people actually using a bath.

I've stayed in the hotel a few times and its not as nice as the Intercontinental next door but its a couple of notches better than some of other non franchise hotels around it.

There is wireless only available in the lobby area and no business facilities or fitness area. There is plenty of private parking at the back and underneath the hotel.

good: the location is wonderful- the view is greate- the breakfast is fantastic- shopping mall down

bad: the furniture is over used - the bed is not as we excpected- mini bar empty- ironing board have burn marks- carpet strings annoyed me cuz they stick in my clothes-- we only added 100 SA in dar al eman "the hotel next to anwar" and we lived like kings (compared to anwar) so for the same value u can find better

Great stay. The Hotel is clean and friendly staff. The place is really big with shops on the ground floor.
The room was cleaned everyday. I had a great view of the haram from my room.

Nice location. One of the hotels right at the front of the mosque.
One of the ladies entrance ( gate 16 ) is right next to this hotel. However for visiting prophets tomb, the entrance is a different gate about 50 metres, i think gate 25.

Very good access if you want to pray on time. However, one siituation which was astonishing was we could barely hear the Azan despite being close to the mosque.

We didnt try food in the hotel as there were many fast food restaurants nearby.

There is shopping centre below the building and next to buildings and also supermarket in the basement which was very handy.

Bed was very good and comfortable.

Check in and check out was good.

Overall, I would definitely stay there again.
