The Westin Kuala Lumpur is a really wonderful hotel, with a nice and friendly staff, and in this case being a "chain" hotel means an higher level of quality (as usually Westin does).
Definitely, the Bukit Bintang area, where the hotel is, is one of the best areas (not a traditional one, but one with the best malls and shops and new restaurants in KL).
Wired internet connection is avaliable in rooms, though is pretty expensive (15 eur/day).
There's a nice pool area to restore from the fatigue of the day and a wonderful brand new gym with the latest Technogym equipment.
Floors from 31st up are Executive Club floors, with access to a beautiful lounge (good and varied breakfasts adn evening canapes, with a resident chef) with a breathtaking view on the Petronas Towers which, by the way, are a mere 12/15 mins walking. They are worth the extra rate.
A prepaid cab (Teksi Kupon) from KL Sentral Station is 12 ringgits (2,5 eur).
