This is one of the best hotels i've ever stayed, we had our own butler who walked me to the corner shop as well as come shopping with me as my partner didn't arrive until next day and i was scared to go alone! He was such a gentleman, opening doors for me and calling me "mam". He was so polite that i had to tell him to stop beign so nice lol. The rest of the staff were amazing, always attentive to my needs, i must admit my room had few issues when i first checked in as it was newly renovated and some of the utilities in the bathroom for example havne't yet been used so it wasn't in working condition but they never failed to come and fix it for me asap. I also locked my safe box few times by accident and had forgotton my pass word so the handy man came to unlock it for me at least 9 times and never once gave me bad attitude. The breakfast is marvellous, with staff always makign sure u have your coffee topped up, they have a beautiful and cosy pool up on the top floor with a private bar. This is a very modern lookign cosy hotel and it's definately worth the money you spend. They will hail a cab for you in frotn of your hotel if you feel uneasy about venturing out in the main road and they will always greet you with a friendly smile. I was so attached to the staff that i ended up stopping by on my way to the airport to say good by and say thank you ( as i stayed elsewhere for few days due to my trip schedule ). I definately recommend this hotel and i will re visit them again. :) thank you to all the staff xoxo

It was a pleasant surprise to get what we expected based on TripAdvisor reviews, although nothing in Manila seems to be without a snag. We stay in the hotel late April and then again in May this year, believing G Hotel to be one of better places in Manila.

With its elegant black and white décor, G Hotel Manila Waterfront provides pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. Its contemporary look, good location and reasonable price, combined with staff willingness to address your concerns, will give you what you would expect from a small charming hotel in North America.

As for the snag, on both occasions we were assigned rooms not exactly as we booked – twin beds instead king and smoking instead of non smoking. But do not give up, be cordial but persistent on what you booked, and the staff will accommodate you after some foot dragging.

My fiancee and I have stayed at the G twice in the last 4 months, and were impressed each time. It is a small boutique hotel on the Manila Bay Walk, and isn't anything fancy. But what makes this property stand out from all the others is its staff. Their level of personalized service is the best I have ever experienced in my many years of traveling, and they go out of their way to accommodate your every wish. An email to the hotel will get you a reply from your personal butler, and you communicate with them directly on any special requests. I have had bouquets of flowers and champagne waiting in our room, rose petals on the floor, and a warm bath ready for my fiancee upon arrival - just by asking. Angelo and Jerick - our butlers - are the best! We even were able to leave excess baggage stored with them while we went to Boracay for 4 days! Amazing!
The double suites are the best rooms, with kitchenettes and a table with plates and silverware. Their high speed internet is free, wireless (so you can BOTH use your laptop ;)) and the fastest I have ever seen in a hotel.
On the down side, it is on Roxas Blvd, so it is noisy - and seems to be on the main ambulance route to a major hospital. Also, because it is not one of the 'big name' hotels, very few taxi drivers know where it is, so get a map from the front desk or write down the cross street (Quirino) or nearby landmarks.
