We arrived very early in the morning, our passports were taken off us by an elderly gent with no English, and we were rushed upstairs to our room, and wondered if we'd made a big mistake coming here !!!
In the morning when we walked outside we knew it was just heaven. The view from the gardens were beautiful, and as breakfast ( continental ) was eaten in the gardens you couldn't ask for more. Well you could..... if you wanted full English breakfast. The owners would get whatever you wanted... extra cost of course..
Before the week sunbathing, try the Turkish baths. It prepares your skin for a good suntan.
I'd also reccommend a dolmus trip to Gummislok. It costs pennies, and is only 20 mins away. A huge range of fish restaurants and a lovely setting where you can wade across to Rabbit Island... White rabbits.... honest !!! Did I mention, rabbit was also on the menu. !!
All the other eating places mentioned are worth a visit. Especially Uncles and the Mona Lisa... (Where did that name come from !!!)
We enjoyed it so much we're going back next year to meet up with some of the friends made this year.
The only minus is the new huge complex built around the corner from the Opal, No problems, until the guests go back to their hotel on the back road, as mentioned before, if you close the window to keep out the noise you get very warm.
