We had paid $89 for a one bedroom room in April, which I thought was a decent deal considering that it is an off season. But they gave us a 2 bedroom instead, and I must say that it was a beautiful suite and was an excellent deal for the money! Having a second bathroom was a nice surprise. I couldn't beleive how clean the place was, and they had everything provided that you could possibly need. The indoor pool was alright, and the hot tub was nice. There was even a whirlpool inside the room! The only thing that wasn't nice was the weather, but of course they have no control over that! Also, the beach is a little further away from the rooms than they advertise, we ended up driving to the gate because the hotel section is the furtherest section from the gate. Apparently the older sections are mostly timeshares and they use the new sections for hotel rentals. I would definitely recommend staying here, but make sure they put you up in one of the new sections, because it looks as if the older ones are very run down.

Would recommend this resort, especially to families. We were in the newer section just behind the new indoor pool and were very pleased with our condo. Very spacious and tastefully decorated. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms, great with a teenager! The indoor pool was very clean and nice, didn't try the outdoor pool because it was chilly, but it looked nice, too. The villas are not oceanfront and it was a little trek to the beach, but not too far. Security was nice, an attendant on duty at the entrance and a code is required to enter the gate back from the beach area. Atlantic Beach has some great little restaurants, too. Try Roma Pizza for lunch, the Sanitary in Morehead City, just over the bridge from the beach for seafood,and there are some chains such as Applebee's and Outback in Morehead on 70 West. Really enjoyed the trip, just be sure to go during the off season to catch a ferry to Cape Lookout. They weren't running while we were there. Don't miss Fort Macon, a beautiful restoration even if you're not into Civil War stuff. Enjoy!

This was our first stay at the Villas. The property is beautiful. We spent 3 nights in a 2 bedroom villa. The villas are clean and very well kept. Pools are very nice. The beach access is easy and the private beach is beautiful.
We were vacationing with our son and his family, which included 3 small children. The only negative point to the Villas is no elevators. Of course we were put on the third floor. Talk about exercise! I would stay here again if I were guaranteed a first floor apartment. Lugging everything including 3 children up and down 3 flights of stairs is just too much for this grammy!

We were pleasantly suprised how much we enjoyed our trip to Atlantic Beach. It was a last minute trip and we were very worried about the possibility of a hurricane. It ended up being an absolutely beautiful week. The ocean was calm and warm and all 4 of the pools were wonderful. In general, we were very happy with the Peppertree resort. We stayed in one of the older units but it had everything we needed. In addition, there were plenty of activities for our 4 year old son. We had wonderful meals at some of the local restaurants. Our favorite meal was at the Island Grille (they have a 2 for 1 special on Mon/Tues nights) and we also really enjoyed the Front Street Grill in Beaufort for Sunday brunch. We are looking forward to going back soon.
