no, the rooms aren't perfect, but what do you expect for the price? i've stayed at this hotel twice - both times during the Austin City Limits Music Festival weekend. my encounters with the staff were good. the rooms were always clean. the bedroom can be a little stuffy because there is no a/c vent in there, but it's not a problem with the ceiling fan on and the door open. the mini-fridge and microwave are convenient and the beds are comfy. the location is good if you dont mind staying a few miles outside of downtown. we plan on staying there again for this years ACL festival because it's such a great deal!

The Austin Suites Hotel offers a terrible experience in Austin. It is not clean at all. The rooms smell horrible, the furniture and the bathrooms are shabby, the air conditioning does not work, and the beds are not clean. This is not all; the worst part is the service. You cannot trust on what the people at the front desk say to you. They change their policies accordingly to their advantage. They do not follow what they say to the costumers. The manager of this hotel does not respect what his employees tell their costumers. He is rude, impolite, and wants to take your money no matter what.
It was my worst experience in a hotel.
