I don't know what everybody is raving about.

I booked the hotel based on the reviews on this website, and I was pretty dissapointed. The Melia Mofarrej is an old and tired building, badly refurbished that does not differ from any Holiday Inn you can find in a big city.


I definetely will not stay again at this hotel.

the best hotel in sao paulo, the service, the restaurante, and the view, if you want fell in your home i think is the best place to stay. the staff are always happy and the will be happy to help you.

We have stayed in several top hotels worlwide but nothing comes close to the service provided by the staff at Gran Melia Mofarrej....we stayed in an exquisite Executive Suite and from the moment we arrived to the the minute we left...we received very personal and homely service from the staff.
We needed recomendations on restaurants and what not in the area and our personal concierge even wrote a sweet letter with recomendations and sent it over to our room with fruits and what not.
Even the personal butler service was exquisite.
This hotel is in a great neighbouhood, and would definately stay at this hotel again.
The service here somewhat sets a benchmark!

I had a lovely stay at this hotel last week. The room was large with a nice size sitting area; and it was comfortable and tastefully decorated. The Bathroom had separate shower and bath. To my surprise, on the night of my arrival, they sent me a care package for "Woman Business Traveler". If you decided not to bring your laptop, there's a business office downstair free of charge for accessing emails. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of hot and cold selection plus egg station. And the public area is just grand. The hotel is in a very beautiful part of the town, althogh not walking distance to shopping (as you shouldn't be walking anywhere in this city on your own), yet it is near most businesses, commerical and entertainment areas. I would strongly recommend it to anyone visiting SP.
