By far the best hotel in Ghana. Good mid-range price, clean, centrally located, and with an excellent kitchen. My wife and I originally checked in to this hotel hoping to stay two days, but on day two I got a massive case of food poisoining. It was my good fortune to be at Mighty Victory. The owners, Richard and Joyce, took care of me as if I were a member of their family. They advised me on what to eat, they made a special effort to procure key items of food for me (bananas and coconut milk are the key remedy for "running" stomachs, btw), and did everything possible to ensure that I was comfortable and well taken care of. Once I got well, I didn't want to leave! A very pleasant atmosphere permeates the hotel because of the friendly owners and staff, the kitchen and lounge areas offer great opportunities to meet other travelers (we actually made friends with several people), and the rooms are great. Well-sized, well-aired, clean. Since Mighty Victory is on a hill, the rooms also have great views. From our balcony, for example, we had panoramic views of half of Cape Coast. My only complaint is that this hotel raises the bar too high. After staying here, you'll feel like every other hotel in Ghana is second rate! Highly recommended.
