Came here for 4 days to begin a Montenegro/Croatia vacation, we wished we didn't have to leave! Aman resorts have a quite a reputation and a price to match, this was my first visit to one of their properties. Spectacular in a subtly elegant way, many would be underwhelmed, not I. The decor and historical appropriateness to the environs was sensitively done. The manner in which the entire property was thoroughly updated yet kept in close touch to its roots was impressive. Service, with one small hiccup, was delightful, you barely have to ask and you get it. Drinks, here? Meal, there? Sit, here? Of course! The dinners were very memorable. The property has a gorgeous island restaurant and a short walk through a pine scented walk you arrive at the other property, King's House (really a royalty seaside house) which has secluded waterside tables at your disposal. Each restaurant features similar cuisine (largely extremely fresh seafood, thanks to your locale) with a different focus, delicious! A wonderful experience, can't wait to get to the next Aman resort!
