We booked 3 rooms for our group in this hotel based on the strength of the reviews here. As many others have already said, this is a clean, comfortable place to stay, especially for the price range. We stayed in the basic "luxury rooms", and those were just fine. The booking was made through their web site. No deposit was paid and they confirmed the reservation promptly via email.
Wi-fi is available for a fee, but there was no public computer to check your email etc. We were directed to a nearby Internet cafe. Not a problem for us - jut something to note. The restaurant was fine, although a bit pricey compared to what you get in the area. Those craving a traditional South Indian vegetarian meal experience may want to check out the DasaPrakash restaurant nearby.
Word of caution - our auto driver from the train station said this was an old hotel, and tried to convince us to stay elsewhere at one of the more expensive 5 star hotels! The rooms were remodeled a few years ago, and we were glad to stay here. Don't know if this type of "advice" is a common scam, but it is something to be aware of.
Overall, an excellent value. It is usually not easy to find such clean and comfortable accommodations in India in this price range.
