Can you imagine the perfect hotel stay where every detail exceeds your expectations? If you can ... then you get the idea of what could be staying at Park Hyatt Chennai. Not my first visit but this time I was literally "spoiled", treated like a king by a super kind and attentive staff.
I was ugraded to a suite so big that I almost felt lonely! Only the bathroom was big enough to throw a party! I loved every minute of my stay and look forward to go back.

Mid size lobby with neat setting. I checked in to the hotel at almost midnight and all went seamlessly. Room is fresh and very spacious with good quality amenities. There is even a Nespresso machine in the room. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Wifi within the hotel is very stable. If you opt for hotel car to chauffer you around, it is also equipped with free wifi.

I always stayed in Hyatt Regency whenever I visited Chennai. This time, my office suggested I try the Park Hyatt, I was hesitant at first, but after the experience I had there, Im glad I made this choice. It’s a much newer and hip hotel. Good service, friendly staff, close proximity to shopping areas and Phoenix Mall within walking distance….what more can one ask for! Food and service is excellent, on par with Hyatt standards. The restaurant, Flying Elephant, is quite a happening venue, and you shouldn’t miss club nights if you are there on Saturday.

Dear Beegee_bbgp

We would like to thank-you for your review. It has indeed been a pleasure having you stay with us.
You’ve rightly mentioned the Phoenix Mall’s proximity to the hotel, which makes it all the more convenient for our guests.
The Flying Elephant continues to be our guests’ well-loved destination to dine out and for sure, Saturdays have been blazing with the energy and vibe that it manages to send out.
We’ll be hoping you continue to choose us for your upcoming stays, and it would be a delight to welcome you back.

Warm Regards

This is a very nice hotel in a very poor and dirty area of India. Stayed just over a week and had a very nice experience. The rooms are very comfortable and very clean with WiFi, cable, coffee maker and honor bar. The bathrooms are immaculate and luxurious. The bed was wonderfully comfortable with down pillows and comforter.

The restaurants are very nice and the daily breakfast and lunch buffets are delicious. Tried many different dishes and enjoyed them all. The staff is very kind and tends to your every need. Really a nice stay in an otherwise unpleasant area.

I stayed here for 2 nights on holiday with my parents. The hotel is nicely designed and maintains the standard of the Hyatt brand that I know of globally, having stayed at many of their hotels.

Check-in was smooth and effortless, and the room was very clean and spacious. The rooftop infinity pool was also a nice treat, and laid out among the grass and plants.

We used the hotel taxi to do a day trip tour around Chennai with a very knowledgeable and courteous driver. This was done safely, and with no incidents.

Service was excellent, in particular, with Lucia who entertained us at breakfast with her jokes, her very warm hospitality and inquisitive nature to ensure you were having the best possible time ever. I think Lucia made our stay with Park Hyatt Chennai most memorable. Even now, a week later, my parents still talk about her! Be sure to look out for her if you see her :)

We had dinner in the Flying Elephant Restaurant. I believe reservations may be required but it seems quite relaxed as well. Dining here will be a treat to yourself, and also the bar opens quite late so do sit back and enjoy a drink as the lights dim and the music pumps up! It seems it is a popular spot with the locals as it was getting quite busy on the Saturday night.

If I had to visit Chennai, I would definitely consider staying here again.
