We stayed here for one night with our family and small dog. The elevators were old and gross, and the walls were beat up. The room was dirty, and there was black dog hair on our bed. The staff was friendly, but overall we were dissapointed.

We stopped here overnite on our way to Florida. It was an excellent choice - convenient to I-65, lots of shopping and restaurants. The La Quinta has very comfortable beds compared to other moderate priced hotels, and the room was large. We got a great special weekend rate on their website - we're new fans of La Quinta!

This was a nice hotel. Our one night stay was enjoyable and the hotel was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The best part was they accepted pets. Quick check-in/out with no problems. There are a few restraunts and shopping nearby (within 1 mile), Its about a 15 min drive from BHM International. We will definately stay at this location again. Thanks again La Quinta!

on a one-night stay to visit the zoo. further south from b'ham away from the downtown "hustle" by only about 4 mi. very easy to find. can see from the highway. shopping and dining on the same road. across from a super walmart and sam's. very pretty hotel, beautiful courtyard area, rooms still seemed almost new-no frig or microwave in double bed rooms though but did have a desk w/comfortable chairs. bfast free and good w/big dining area. staff not over-friendly but accomodating. would recommend. book through hotels-- and get a cheaper rate without sacrificing experience of stay.
