We stayed at La Terraza for 2 days on the front end of our trip, and 2 days on the back end.
We are thinking of retiring in CR, so traveled the country with our future plans in mind. When we came back, at the end of our trip, we both sighed, feeling that we were back at home base.
Jeanetta and Charlie are perfect hosts and we look forward to staying with them again! The La Terraza is a beautiful B&B.

Our high hopes for a great stay at La Terazza in Grecia, Costa Rica were completely fulfilled. Proprietors Jeanetta and Charles Owens fed us like family, and set us up with excursions to Poas volcano, La Paz waterfall, and Doka coffee plantation that were superb. Charles even gave us some Jazz CDs for our evening dinner music.The grounds are like a nature preserve. Just the ticket for a vacation from Minnesota snow and cold. What a wonderful greeting we received from these marvelous hosts Jeannetta & Charlie.It was the best way to start our vacation, a home away from home.
Carlos, their excellent and friendly driver was an exceptional tour guide during our stay. He made us feel really special and safe.

My wife and I spent 13 days at La Terraza and had a great time. Jeanetta and Charles, the owners, were very friendly and helpful with anything we needed. The staff were superb and also very friendly. The grounds are beautiful. The breakfasts were great and the whole place is spotless. They provided us with a computer table so we could use our computer in comfort. They also provided us with an inexpensive way to call the US. We recommend La Terraza without reservation.

Jeanetta and Charles Owens were absolutely wonderful hosts. We were delighted to be invited to Jeanetta's birthday celebration -- and what a celebration it was. This couple went out of their way to make sure you were comforable and had a wonderful stay, but didn't bug you for anything. If you didn't want breakfast till noon, that was fine with them! And the Grecia area is absolutely beautiful with georgeous views and friendly people. They even invited us to go with them to church on Sunday! We were in San Jose for my wife to have dental work done, and wanted to get out of the city for the weekend. They picked us up at our hotel and brought us back. A great way to spend a weekend!
