I have never stayed at a hostel in my life, and coming from Calgary, Alberta CANADA, I had read many things about Costa Rica. Be Cautious, take all these meds, etc. etc. I loved staying at the hostel and went on many wonderful day trips to the ocean, snorkelling, Cafe Britt, InBioparque, seeing crocodiles and then enjoying a 5 star resort. ALL these were booked at the Hostel by the BEST, MOST WONDERFUL STAFF around. P.S, you can drink the water from the tap, I might have seen 1 mosquito in 10 days stay and the food is great. The hostel is within walking distance to everything you need.
