Based on TripAdvisor reviews, my wife and I and two sons (ages 14 and 12) selected Quepoa Expeditions for our rafting experience and had a great time. They picked us up on time at our hotel, took us to their office in town then proceeded to the Savegre River. We chose to ride in individual inflatable kayaks rather than a group raft (Quepoa may be the only one who offers this) and are so glad we did. Being able to paddle around in your own watercraft was tons of fun, and negotiating the rapids on your own was a real thrill. Only my wife flipped over once, but our helpful guide Scottie had her back in her boat and on her way in a jiffy. The Savegre River was absolutely beautiful, and we stopped at a stunning waterfall to snack on fresh pineapple and cookies while we played and took photos in the waterfall. It rained almost the entire time during our trip but this did not dampen our enthusiasm at all. The river was plenty warm. A photographer accompanied us on the trip and we gladly paid the extra $40 for a slew of fantastic photos of our adventure. Scottie and all of the other folks at Quepoa were terrific. The only "negative" thing I can say is that rather than the "less than an hour" to get to the river as we were told, the drive took almost two hours, which included a stop to pick up other guests and a stop to get some snacks. Nevertheless, Scottie was great company all the way and we enjoyed the drive. All in all, we had a great time and highly recommend it to others.
