Our first time to Costa Rica and we couldn't be more pleased with this B&B that our son found for us. From the minute we arrived until the morning we left for the airport, we were made to feel "special". Casa Laurin is a beautiful, spacious place to relax and to get good information about Costa Rica. If Ginette does not know the answers to your questions, she will direct you to the proper source. Our accommodations were spacious, very clean, comfortable beds and sitting areas, privates safes in all rooms. We even had a hot tub as part of our suite! The breakfast tables were beautifully set and the fresh fruit each morning was wonderful. They try to accommodate cooking whatever you might want besides the regular menu of the day. We will definitely stay there again when we return to Costa Rica. It was like staying with friends, a great experience!

We stayed for six nights following my wife's oral surgery. It was the perfect place to recuperate. The room was airy (corner windows), comfortable (full size bed, couch, desk, TV) and immaculate. Ginette and her staff - Yorleny, Gloria, and Alice - were extremely accommodating preparing a special breakfast and taking care of the room at our convenience. Access to the kitchen was a life saver so we could prepare my wife's meals. The wireless internet connection allowed me to work while we were there. The house itself is beautifully kept and the architecture is very interesting. After six days we left for our home in Puntarenas, but we'll stay at Casa Laurin again and recommend it to our friends.

We happened upon Casa Laurin and were so glad we did. Oasis is a great word for this B&B. Every detail has been thought of for you and Ginette is a wonderful host! Comfortable beds, great breakfast, free fast internet, good location as far as Escazu goes, every ammenity, potable water in rooms, clean, great places to sit and read and chat, maps and info about tours and Costa Rica. Very personal service; needed to go to the post office and instead of telling me how to get there Ginette came with me to show the way and help with mailing and then to search for kids boots I needed for our children.

Ginette is a fabulous host and the house is an upscale property in the best part of uptown San-Jose (Escazu). She even took care of the car rental for us.
