My boyfriend and I stayed at Casa Laurin for 3 nights in the Bambo Room. What a beautiful home Ginnette runs! The home is beautifully decorated and in the heart of San Jose. The breakfast (included) was a feast of food!

You will be greeted by Ginnette and if you're lucky, Jenny and Dolly the resident dogs. (Jenny & Dolly have perfect manners and Dolly the youngest one will even play with you.)

Ginnette gave us lots of advice on where to go and what to see. She booked our trip to the La Paz waterfalls, ordered taxis and the Interbus for us.

I felt so at home with the lovely surroundings and the kindness of Ginnette and her staff that I didn't want to leave.

The B&B was clean, simple and nice. It isn't trendy and I didn't see a swimming pool. But, most importantly we received individualized attention that was invaluable! Ginette arranged for a taxi (mini van size for luggage) to meet us at the airport. He was waiting for us with our name on his sign. She told us before we even left the States how much to pay the taxi. She made arrangements (at our request) for our rental 4 wheel drive vehicle to be delivered to her B&B for our convienence the following morning. Upon our return from Southern Costa Rica, we stayed again before flying out the next morning. She allowed us to leave the rental for pick-up by the company later as we left at 4:30 am. She had the taxi (Eduardo again) pick us up at the B&B and take us to the airport. Ginette speaks French, English and Spanish so her communications skills were needed for several contacts. She took the stress out of coordinating events in a foreign Country in a foreign language. I recommend this B&B because Ginette will get your vacation off to a good start before it even begins!

Our first time to Costa Rica and we couldn't be more pleased with this B&B that our son found for us. From the minute we arrived until the morning we left for the airport, we were made to feel "special". Casa Laurin is a beautiful, spacious place to relax and to get good information about Costa Rica. If Ginette does not know the answers to your questions, she will direct you to the proper source. Our accommodations were spacious, very clean, comfortable beds and sitting areas, privates safes in all rooms. We even had a hot tub as part of our suite! The breakfast tables were beautifully set and the fresh fruit each morning was wonderful. They try to accommodate cooking whatever you might want besides the regular menu of the day. We will definitely stay there again when we return to Costa Rica. It was like staying with friends, a great experience!

We stayed for six nights following my wife's oral surgery. It was the perfect place to recuperate. The room was airy (corner windows), comfortable (full size bed, couch, desk, TV) and immaculate. Ginette and her staff - Yorleny, Gloria, and Alice - were extremely accommodating preparing a special breakfast and taking care of the room at our convenience. Access to the kitchen was a life saver so we could prepare my wife's meals. The wireless internet connection allowed me to work while we were there. The house itself is beautifully kept and the architecture is very interesting. After six days we left for our home in Puntarenas, but we'll stay at Casa Laurin again and recommend it to our friends.
