I found the Sunrise Inn after a mix up in Seward. It was late at night and there were no rooms left in town. I called everyone north until I got the last room at the last motel on the peninsula. It turned out to be a large room with 3 beds at a 10 room resort. There was a bar and restaurant, RV park, store and gas pumps. There was a microwave refrigerator, big TV hot shower in the room and it looked like heaven at 10 PM after a long day.
Cooper landing is in the middle of the Kenai Peninsula and on Kenai Lake. Not a bad spot for a vacation, but it sure was a great place to spend a night too.
