The owners have space for one set of guests in a two story "condo" attached to their home. This lovely place consists of a queen-bedded room upstairs and a living/dining area downstairs with a comfortable pull-out couch.

The full kitchen includes many choices for a fix your own breakfast including eggs, about 7 choices of cereal, multigrain bread, sourdough english muffins, bakery muffins, etc. A coffee grinder and beans are thoughtfully provided.

Gail and John are terriffic hosts. They had just returned from salmon fishing and invited us to join them for dinner. Although we declined, they saved portions of salmon for us to taste, and we enjoyed sipping wine, eating dessert and getting their recommendations on where we should visit. They encouraged us to borrow their Milepost Guide and return it as we drove back to Anchorage.

We could have happily spent several days here. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone visiting Girdwood or stopping between Denali and Seward.Homer.
