Gretta & Bob are the fantastic hosts of this amazing B&B property on Douglas Island, across the Gastineau Channel from Juneau's downtown area. The guests at this B&B enjoy a private entrance separate from the homeowner's entrance. Parking is available on the property. I stayed in the Tongass Room. It was very comfortable and included a fridge which Gretta had stocked with juice and water. In-room ammenities included a coffee-maker, hair dryer, luxurious robes, and enormously expanded cable channels. This room adjoins a common area with books, maps, travel brochures, a microwave & toaster oven. In the morning Gretta provided delicious muffins. I was not able to take advantage of the outdoor relaxation area as it was pouring rain during my stay. The room was clean, very quiet, included a sofa and smal breakfast table with two chairs. It was a pleasant and enjoyable break from the normal hotel routine. I can't wait to stay here again!
