The hotel is lovely, rooms were clean and well equipped (jacuzzi, comfortable mattresses, wireless access). Service is friendly and accurate. In addition the hotel offers an excellent restaurant service that in Juneau - a town catering mainly (too much?) to cruise passengers - can be particularly appreciated. A little jewel, good value for money.

The beds are amazing, the service is great! The hotel itself could use a little updating but overall I was thrilled with my experience. Breakfast is amazing here, by the way!

That's what the cab driver said and we agree. The rooms are very nice, quiet and comfortable. The hotel was built to look like an old Victorian home and is pretty successful at pulling it off. The breakfast room and breakfast are first rate. We were there on the weekend so were not able to try the restaurant's evening meals, pity.

Make sure you go on a whalewatch with Captain Larry. It was the highlight of our trip. If I could figure out how to post pictures I would but you'll have to take my word for it there were literally tons of whales.

It looks great from the outside and is tastefully decorated. Very attractive!!!

However, our room was very small. We could not both sit at the table because there was not enough room to pull the chairs out, the bed blocked them. (One of us sat on the bed and the other at the table to eat our take out) There was barely enough room for 2-26" suitcases. (We are two average-sized adults)

While the beds were comfortable, we could not get to sleep because of hearing the jacuzzi in the next room until 2:00am.

It was one of the most expensive places we stayed in Juneau, but one of the least desirable.

On the positive, they did have a good Internet connection and they were prompt about taking us to the airport.
