I stayed with Loyna for 5 nights in December 2008, travelling solo mainly for diving.
Loyna did not charge me single supplement for the double ensuite room that I occupied (the room can sleep up to 3). I found her prices to be the most reasonable for a half-board pension (think I paid about €55/night half-board).
Room condition was decent (it was no 5* unless you want to pay >€300 per night), and there was hot water. Meals, esp dinner, are delicious and Polynesian, great way of sampling home cooked local food!
Loyna also provided free bicycle rental, which meant I could cycle everywhere (in between diving), to the village centre (Avatoru), to the pearl farms, to visit my diving friends, etc.
As mentioned in the previous review, you do not come to the smaller islands of French Polynesia for their nightlife, as there aren't any.
Went diving with Raie Manta Club, great dive instructors/divemasters they have, all very friendly and helpful, despite me being an English speaker and them French.
Overall I had a great time there, and would definitely be back when I'm next in Rangiroa!
