We had two wigwams for 1 night for about £40 each. They were fabulous. You could hear some train noise and it made the beds shake a little but it all adds to the nostalgia of the place. The owner was great and very obliging.
It's a shame there's not more of Route 66 left as we were disappointed on our trip that so much of it has gone. DON'T let this place go! it was a great stay and I will remember it forever. The old cars parked outside and the little model wigwams for sale all add so much to the experience.

We stayed for 1 night on our cross country trip. We've slept in a caboose, lighthouse, sherriff house and now a wigwam. The kids (4 and 7) loved it! We had 2 double beds and had more room than I expected. yes, the trains run all night but we all had a sound sleep. The beds were fine (we were in wigwam #6) and we even had cable TV - but no remote. The rooms were clean. The price was right and I would recommend this wigwam to others for something different.

“Wonderful and Cozy!”

I loved this little spot! Stayed 1 night en route on 8th March 2005. I stayed in wigwam #12 which is in the middle between the railroad tracks and the highway. Yes, you could hear the train but it did not keep me awake. The wigwams are cozy and surprisingly spacious. I got the type of room with one bed (queen size bed) but I could see you could fit 2 small doubles in the room. In Frommers or another travel book, they wrote that the mattresses were saggy and lumpy. They must have bought brand new beds because the mattress was fine and comfortable. I had wished they put up more signs giving directions to the location but the city is so small it is not hard to find. Also, the mirror in the bathroom is against the wall of the wigwam so it is facing a little downwards which seemed like an optical illusion and sorta gave me a headache. Otherwise, loved this place! The old cars outside each wigwam were an extra added bonus!
