We arrived at the reception desk, only to be ignored by the only member of staff who was busy on a computer. Eventually we interupted her and she signed us in. I asked, “can I have a cup of coffee?” “No” she replied “it is Sunday and the whole town is shut” as blunt as that. This made me laugh and put us in that state for the rest of the one night stay. We went to their third full restaurant and where told we had to wait because there weren’t any tables available. More laughing on our part. The room was OK and the meal was OK.

Room tip: Keep Basil in mind and laugh

Location, location, location.....
Quiet and quaint Inn with friendly staff, clean rooms and good food. Was surprised how nice this Inn is. Would definitely stay again. Close to Monument Valley so a good location. We were on a motorcycle ride with a group of friends, all from North Carolina. Suppose to see the Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon and Zion Canyon but due to our government shut down we didn't get to. Monument Valley helped salvage the trip. Worth the ride!!!

We recently spent a night at the Inn, as a second-choice lodging. It was fine. Not great, but not bad, either. Room was a bit dated, but clean and comfortable. Stairs to the second floor, where our room was located, were a bit of a challenge with luggage. Dining room was "quaint," service good. Not fine dining, but I enjoyed the meal and certainly didn't leave the restaurant hungry. My one negative is that, with tribal, state and city taxes, the room was fairly expensive given the quality of the Inn.

This may be one of only a few hotels, or should that be motels in the area but there is no excuse for poor service and staff who clearly don't want to be there and know you are only there for one night.
The rooms are generally basic and overdue refurbishment, the air conditioning could not be used due to the overpowering smell it emitted when switched on, very musty with a faint odour of air freshener.
Not somewhere I would return to.

Very close to Monument Valley. Rooms basic but comfortable and clean. Decent restaurant attached to the hotel. Nothing special and there isn't anything to do in Kayenta at night but a good night's sleep.
