We drove into town from our home in Las Vegas with a list of six hotels on London Bridge Road. They were priced online from $60 to $130 per night with the Windsor coming in at $80. It was the first place we tried. The desk clerk said that there was one room left for $67. I asked about an AARP discount and got an additional 10% off. At this point I was feeling pretty good about this property. We checked the room before paying. It was clean and well appointed for an economy motel, so we decided to stay.
We later found out that water pressure was very poor and the water was so hard as to make soap almost useless. The bed was very uncomfortable. The room was very poorly insulated for noise. Activity in adjacent rooms and people walking by were very easily heard.
On the positive side the continental breakfast was okay. The room also had a charging station on one of the nightstands with six sockets. I have never seen anything like that in any hotel before. It was very convenient to charge our tablets and phones. Also, I must point out that this motel is very conveniently located just minutes from the London Bridge Resort, the boat harbor and other area attractions..
All in all it was a satisfactory experience for the price, but next time we'll try someplace else..More
