We stayed at the Protea Diamond Lodge across the road and were recommended this place by the receptionist. The restaurant has a large airy main dining room with a very friendly feel about it and appeared to be filled mainly with locals. The manager was very welcoming and spent most of the evening chatting with customers and making sure everyone was happy. There’s also the option to eat al-fresco out the front on a warm evening, although on the Saturday night of our visit there plenty of local petrol-heads making a racket roaring up and down the main street. We shared a salad, then had the kingclip and lamb chops; all very fresh and perfectly cooked. Try this place for a very pleasant evening with great food.
