An absolutely fantastic hotel. stayed 8 nights, did very little sight seeing preferring to stay around the pool every day. Service, rooms staff location brilliant.
Wine list etc good. very relaxed environment where the guests needs were addressed very quickly.
Despite the cable car getting stuck on Table Top Mountain and the ferries not running and electric power cuts this was a brilliant holiday at a really top class hotel .
The views from the bedrooms were truly awesome, to wake up with the mist clearing from Table Mountain each morning and to watch it set every night was truly magnificent.
Room service very good and there was always seating available in the library/lounge for residents to have a night cap.

Staff discrete but on the ball.

“Exceptional service!”

Cape Grace

29 Apr 2008

The service here was incredible. All you had to do was stand in the reception area and a conceirge would appear and asked how they could help. We used them extensively and they were very knowledgeble. It was a great service also to receive free transport (in a fancy 7 series -- if I remember well- BMW) to all places in a certain km radius. You can purchase table mountain tickets directly from the hotel - good to save the queue! We also took advantage of the complementary transport to the local Virgin Active club.

Make sure you go the the restaurant 'Gold' - all african cuisine with a show. Very memorable.

Also loved the waffles made to order at breakfast -- -yum!

Worth every penny. First class service. Free limo takes you site seeing or out at night to restaurants. Stayed for only 2 nights whilst touring S.A. but a memorable experience.

I stayed at the Cape Grace for 7 nights at the start of March. It was probably the best hotel I have ever stayed in and had the most personal service. I had a beautiful room looking at Table Mountain. The service was truly outstanding. When I mentioned that I had a sore head after travelling without any suggestion I had some paracetamol and water handed to me to help me! Room service, the quality of food, the range of drinks and the high calibre of the most caring staff made this a really outstanding home away from home. I so enjoyed the hotel. The best part was probably that the room was so well insulated that it was completely noise free all night despite being down on the Waterfront. I haven't slept so well in a long time.
