We stayed in this hotel in sept. 2011. The hotel was maybe a 3. You have to drive up the side of a cliff, quite a distance from town. It's hard to find where to park. You then get mauled by the dog who is biting your luggage and underfoot the whole way. You feel like you're staying at your in laws as it's a big farm house, kind of B &B, you feel like you're intruding. You are serenated by roosters. No view, just farmlike vicinity. There is one menu for all the guests. The food is bland and greasy. Breakfast is Turkish, which while fine for some, not great if you want eggs or toast. None of the farm women speak ANY english so that makes all communication difficult. We only met one woman as we arrived who spoke english but then she wasn't very visible subsequently. Internet was terrible we had maybe a window of a half hour over 3 days when we were able to get on.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL IN FACT I DO NOT RECOMMEND FETIYE OR OLU DENIZ FOR THAT MATTER. We loved Istanbul and Pamukkale though.

- An unspoilt setting, luxurious surroundings and a warm, personal welcome... Opened in the summer of 2007, Mandarin is a delightful boutique hotel situated in an unspoilt natural setting close to south-west Turkey's magnificent Turquoise Coast. Perfect for nature lovers who also value a touch of luxury and a high level of personal service, Mandarin has been designed as a stylish and supremely comfortable hideaway, which nevertheless boasts a pleasantly informal atmosphere without any hint of stuffiness or pretension. Mandarin comprises just eight guestrooms and thus offers a very intimate ambience, making it the perfect venue for a small group to rent for a special celebration, club event or even a business meeting. However, the hotel is equally suited to romantic couples and guests wishing to stay in unspoilt surroundings, relax in unperturbed peace and perhaps indulge in a few nature-based activities. Please note that, to maintain its air of tranquillity, Mandarin operates a no-children policy (with the exception of group bookings renting the hotel in its entirety). ...introducing one of Turkey's most exclusive retreats ... more less
