We stayed here for 2 weeks at the end of June.
I don't normally write reviews, but I thought I should for this hotel.
The location is brilliant, right on the strip where all the bars and shops are, 3 min walk to the beach, 15 mins walk to the lagoon.
The hotel itself was good, great swimming pools (prefered the silence pool), the resturant - food was excellent, lots of variety. I was really suprised at how good it was. Breakfast, there is an egg station, so you can have an omelette made, pancakes, friend eggs, and then there is also cereals, toast, cheeses, fruit, jams etc. Plenty to choose from! Drinks wise, they offer free tea and coffee and kiwi and cherry juice (yuck!) ... they bring round a tray of orange juice and people think its free, so take one, but then it gets charged to your room, so be careful!
Dinners, different everynight. On a wed they have a bbq and on a Sat they have a turkish night. Tons to choose from!! No drinks available with dinner! The staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you.
The rooms are basic but clean. You can hire a safe for £2 a day. There is a fridge, but its tiny and full of their stuff, so nowhere to put your own water (water in hotel 3 lira, water in supermarket 1.50 lira!!) Showers are tiny. Walls are thin!! We moved rooms twice (from blocks 6 to 9 to 3) because of the noise and we are in our 20's, would hate to think what it would have been like getting a baby or young child off to sleep. In the end we bought ear plugs!!
I would recommend this hotel, but I would request a room by the restaurant away from all the noise. You can upgrade rooms for £10 a night more, I think its worth it to get away from the noise! otherwise, stay in a hotel a bit further out - like where the Alize is - at the top of the strip, away from the noise!
