Because Argentine service is pretty much the worst in the known universe i started off by sending a message in the form of ordering an expensive bottle of Champagne (also pretty much the first time i'd seen any sort of wine that wasnt from ARG). This worked and resulted in great service from more than one waiter.
Food: we started with the Patagonian King Crab legs sautéed in garlic and olive oil. It was very nice. My date started with the baked Camembert w/ mushrooms and onions. It was excellent!
Next we shared a rather large seafood parrillada which included clams, muscles, prawns, salmon, swordfish, catfish, and assorted grilled vegetables. The swordfish was a tad overcooked but otherwise it was really great. It is plenty of food for 2 and we weren't able to make it all the way through it.
After the main dinner and Champagne we made our way to the bar area of the restaurant to sit and have cocktails and dessert. Do NOT deny yourself the chocolate soufflé. It says (15 mins) beside it so i knew they werent playing around. It was excellent and served with exceptionally good vanilla ice cream. It went well with the stiff and well made old fashioneds i was sipping.
Service was good, food was great, dessert was amazing (almost as good as my date ;-)
I highly recommend this restaurant,
