The hotel is excellenty located. However our stay was a comedy of errors and problems. We booked a Junior suite. When we arrived we were 1st taken to a room with the 11th floor 'panoramic view' of the rear side of building apartments and washing lines. Whilst I checked if I mistook the type of room, I got a call saying they allocated us the wrong room. We were taken to a very spacious suite with a great view. Unfortunately we had issues with the heating every night. It was a big nuisance to have maintenance people every night opening the false ceilings and spend 20 minutes playing about with the valves and pipework. when all you want to do is go to bed. It completely ruined our stay coming back to the 14th floor and find no heating in temperatures of 6 degrees or so. We were supposed to stay 4 nights but after the third night I really hit on the hotel reception and checked out a day early. They did try to pacify things by giving us a free night but the stay really was compromised. The breakfast is not very good but the bar make very good capuccinos. All in all I don't think I would stay there again.

We stayed 5 nights here and had a very nice experience. Cordoba is an often overlooked destination in Argentina. I had requested a room on an upper floor, facing west, and got it. Hotel has 14 floors and we were on 11. The pool and gym are on the rooftop floor and are beautiful. The view out of our window was of the Plaza Independence and the mountains in the distance. The room was spacious and clean, but only one person at the desk spoke what I would call very fluent English, resulting in some miscommunication at times (like a 5AM wakeup). But everyone WANTS to help, they just are limited. But not speaking Spanish is my problem, not theirs isn't it. You can easily walk to the San Martin plaza which is the heart of town, and also to the weekend market area. Cordoba hotels seemed much less expensive than BsAs, making this seem like a real deal.

We booked this hotel with Expedia the day before we arrived on the bus from Tucuman. Long ride and hated that they had no record, yet, of our paid reservation and said that was typical of Expedia. But the hotel is in a great location for walking to restaurants and touring the city. The rooms are stylish but spare. I think this chain does a great job of providing a cool place to stay without breaking the budget. As tourists we found the business places offered more value than regular tourist places--more style, often a free computer in the lobby, decent free continental breakfast and better locations.

All the HGTV shows could take lessons from them on design on a dime and decorate like Ian Schrager. The next time I need new window dressings at home I will imitate them.
