Very interesting, with competent guides. It's too bad we could not stay any longer in the library. To be completed with the visit of a jesuit estancia (Alta Gracia).

This area is beautiful, home of the Jesuit Church, the great old Colegio de Monserrat and a bevy of museums inside the laberintine University of Cordoba buildings.
English tours are offered at the museum for 10 pesos and are well worth it. the tour includes teh church, sacristry and pre-sacristry, as well as rooms within the college. our guide spoke good english and happily answered questions. the explanations included a description of the jesuit order and the conflicts it experienced in the history of argentina.
if you know a lot about religious history and architecture, this is not for you. but if you'd like a one hour introduction to part of cordoban and argentinian history, this is a good place to start.
Must do in Cordoba. You are in the heart of the city with plenty of shops, restaurants, and cafes. Very central to other attractions.
The architecture of this place was beautiful and while I went while the tours were not running, I got to walk through and see this beautiful place and the antiquity of it.
The tour is worth doing. We did the English one and had a cool gentlemen with good English show us around. We learnt loads and found it very interesting.
