There is only one word to describe the "Estancia Cristina Experience": Magnificent... Our three-day, two night stay execeeded by far our expectations. The location is simply amazing. Be prepared to experience pure nature and only a handful of people sharing this majestic place. This is, what you pay for... worth every cent and penny. Amazing trips, hikes and activities, wonderful food and execellent location and guides. Be prepared to be overwhelmed by the nature... an experience you'll never forget!

Is Estancia Cristina the most perfect place in the world? Very possibly.

The experience of absolute remoteness from the rest of the world is magical. The views are astonishing, the food and wine delicious, especially lunch and dinner, the rooms are beautifully comfortable. Breakfast is simple, which leaves plenty of space for the amazing lunches. Lots of quiet corners to relax, read, play games- with no TVs or telephones to distract. Baths are big enough for two. All staff and guides are terrific, and the excursions we'll remember forever. The views! The fossils! The wild horses!

The estancia is blissfully soothing, but remember, it is NOT a 5 star hotel- the electricity is turned off at midnight, which we LOVED- it's a place to relax and unwind, enjoying good food and wine and the magic of nature. Although it is very expensive, if you can afford it you must go and experience it for yourself. Given the quality of the food, accommodation, excursions and wine, and the fact that it was our honeymoon, we thought that every last penny was well spent.

Can we speak any higher of Cristina? I don't think so.

I was not entirely convinced I wanted to go to this Estancia due to the cost but I was so glad my boyfriend made us go. This place is magical. We decided to stay overnight which I strongly recommend. I would have been so disappointed to have just stayed for the day. The horseback riding and hiking are topnotch. The lunches were wonderful. Dinners were ok, stick with the soups. They made special meals for me as I have food allergies which was a real treat. I love this place and I can't wait to go back.

We had some problems with our lugagges on the boat. They were oustide and were completly wet. The staff was arrogant and not very useful to treat the problem far from a top luxury hotel that the price seems to indicate.
Otherwise it is very nice but for this amount of money I believe there is better places in the region.
