Free Champagne and chocolate!! Every Thursday, the art gallerys sponsor an "artwalk". Several of the classy galleries offer free champagne and chocolates. My favorite gallery was "Occasions" on 4223 N Marshall. If you go inside, be sure to look up towards the ceiling because there are really unique wire mesh sculptures perched on top of the shelves and illuminated with spot lights which cast a shadow on the wall that looks stunning real like a picture.
If you get tired, there is a trolley that runs the circuit. There are enough people browsing so you don't feel pressured in these galleries but not so many that you are crowded. A fun way to see these galleries at night. Daytime is fine also to walk aroung this arts district as the shops will be open then (not at night during the artwalk)
