Jeff and his staff did a wonderful job of making me feel welcome and right at home as soon as I arrived. I travel extensively for work, and staying Las Posadas of Sedona made me feel like I was on vacation or visiting the home of a close friend rather than being on a business trip. The suite was beautiful, quiet and tastefully furnished. I enjoyed listening to the fountains located near each of the buildings as I walked from my suite to Oak Creek Village. Good food and charming shops were only a few steps away. A luxurious place to stay at a reasonable price. Not a typical B&B, very private. Make sure you don't skip the Las Posadas breakfast, it should not be missed! My only regret is that my stay was so short but I'll be back again soon.

We stayed at Las Posadas in late April 2008. Their website claimed "red rock views" and we even had a "red rock suite" but that claim was very misleading. When booking this room 2 months in advance, we requested a room with a great balcony for stargazing....sadly, we were on the ground level with a balcony above our patio which actually INHIBITED stargazing. A bit disappointing. The room itself was pretty clean, however when pulling the mattress/bed away from the wall to retrieve a lost item I found inches of dirt, dust, feathers from the pillows and other unmentionable items. That kind of detracted from the apparent cleanliness of the rest of the room. The bathroom was nice with garden tub and separate tile shower. The TV in the sitting room was a very small (17" ?) flatscreen monitor up on the wall. The bed was VERY comfortable with great bedding, but the rest of the furniture in the room was very uncomfortable. The walls in this B&B are incredibly thin!!! We could hear EVERYTHING (and I mean everything) in the room above us. Very distracting and not conducive to a relaxing peaceful time. Breakfast was ok but nothing great...cheese omlettes, fruit, juice, bacon, granola...just ok. The area is nice as this particular property is out and away from Sedona itself, about 10-15 minute drive, so it is quiet here. We will return to Sedona, but we won't stay here. There are many many other options that are probably a better value for $300 a night.

    • Liked — the quiet location, and stargazing if we would have had a better room for it
    • Disliked — thin walls, view not as promised, expensive for what you get, overrated

This is a new luxury inn that has it all together -- the staff is very friendly, accommodating and treat you like you are a favorite family member coming to visit. The suite we had was both roomy and beautiful with separate living room, bedroom (bed was very comfortable), kitchenette and luxurious large bathroom with gorgeous marble bathtub. There was a gas fireplace that you could view from two sides (living room and bedroom) -- very cozy! Breakfast was served in a detached dining room by the most wonderful chef, Diane, who really knows how to serve up both light and heavy meals, depending on what you want to start out the day. The food was excellent and very tasty! The guests all seemed to enjoy each other's company while dining sharing the experiences from the day before or what they had planned for the day ahead. The grounds were beautiful and clean. You must give this inn a try -- you will not be disappointed!

Las Posadas of Sedona

27 Apr 2008

My daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights, and I MUST SAY WE WERE REALLY HAPPY WITH THE ROOMS AND THE WONDERFUL STAFF!! Both Jay and Jeff went over and beyond their duty to make our stay comfortable, and so did the cook, Dianne. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone. Its location is great too, as it is away from the main town of Sedona. Thanks again, Jay and Jeff!!! Rekha Chugh, Calgary, Alberta.

Nothing bad to say at all! Wonderful room and a delicious breakfast!!!

Having never been to Sedona before I was a little nervous that we would be a little out of the way of things, but not the case at all. You pretty much drive everywhere any way and one end of town to the other takes a mere matter of minutes.

Cucina Rusitca is a very easy walk and is an excellent dinner choice!

Can't wait to return!
